Vietnam Electricity National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), a subsidiary of state utility Vietnam Electricity (EVN), held separate working sessions with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Son La and Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committees to advance official development assistance (ODA)-funded transmission projects. The discussions focused on appraisal and investment preparation for the 500 kV Son La 1 substation and the 500 kV Son La 1–Son Tay transmission line in north-western Vietnam, as well as assessment of ODA funding for the 500 kV Binh Dinh–Krong Buk line project.
