Bajel Projects Limited has formalised an agreement with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) for the construction of two contiguous sections, Lot 1 and Lot 5, of a 500 kV overhead transmission line project in Egypt.
The combined contract is valued at over Rs 4 billion. The project forms part of Egypt’s national grid reinforcement programme, which aims to strengthen the country’s high-voltage transmission network and improve power evacuation to meet growing industrial and economic demand.
