Shyam Sel and Power Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited, has commissioned an 8.90 MWp captive solar power project at its manufacturing facility in Jamuria, West Bengal. The project has been developed to meet the plant’s captive power requirements, reduce energy costs and increase the use of renewable energy.
The project comprises 4.60 MWp developed under the capital expenditure model and 4.30 MWp under the operating expenditure model.
