Evren, a renewable energy platform backed by Brookfield, has signed a 750 MW power purchase agreement (PPA) with NTPC Limited for solar, wind and battery energy storage projects across Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan. According to the company, the agreement ranks among the largest renewable energy PPAs by capacity awarded in India.
With this agreement, Evren’s renewable energy pipeline in India has expanded to 11 GW. Of this, 3.5 GW comprising solar, wind and battery energy storage projects is currently under construction.
