Laser Power and Infra Limited has received a letter of intent worth Rs 41.5 million from Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL) for a turnkey high-temperature low-sag (HTLS) reconductoring project in the Nalagarh Electrical Division of Himachal Pradesh. The project entails the replacement of conventional transmission conductors with HTLS conductors to enhance the transmission capacity, while utilising the existing transmission towers. The order marks Laser Power’s first commercial deployment of advanced conductor technology under its manufacturing agreement with TS Conductor Corporation, USA, signed in March 2025.
