Bajel Projects Limited has secured two orders from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) under the Western Region-Eastern Region (WR-ER) Inter-Regional Network Expansion Scheme. The TL06 package is valued at Rs 3 billion-Rs 4 billion, while the TL02 package is valued at over Rs 4 billion.
The TL06 package involves the LILO of the Ranchi (New)-New PPSP 400 kV double-circuit line at Jamshedpur (New). The scope includes the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the transmission line. The TL02 package covers the Raigarh (Tamnar)-Jamshedpur (New) 765 kV double-circuit line, Part-II. The project involves construction of the new transmission line. Together, the two packages will strengthen inter-regional power evacuation between the Western and Eastern regions and improve grid connectivity across Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.
