Envision Energy to supply turbines for 200 MW Phu Cuong wind project

Envision Energy has secured a contract from REE Energy to supply wind turbines for the 200 MW Phu Cuong 1A and 1B wind project in Vietnam. The project represents Envision’s largest wind project in Vietnam and its largest overseas nearshore wind project to date. Turbine deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2027, with grid connection targeted for October 2027.

The project will deploy 25 EN-226/8.X YE wind turbines, specifically designed for Vietnam’s nearshore wind conditions to maximise energy generation and long-term operational performance. The development builds on the companies’ existing partnership on the 128 MW Vinh Long wind projects, where turbine production commenced in April 2026 and deliveries are currently underway.
