Vietnam Electricity (EVN), the state-owned power utility, and its subsidiary Vietnam Electricity National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) are advancing 292 transmission projects between 2026 and 2030 under the government-approved revised National Power Development Plan VIII (PDP VIII), including 13 high voltage schemes in Dak Lak province.
The national programme comprises 78 projects at the 500 kV level and 214 projects at the 220 kV level. It includes approximately 16,665 km of transmission lines and 91,263 MVA of transformer capacity, with estimated investment requirements of VND157.9 trillion.
