Tata Power and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) have signed a master research agreement to establish a long-term partnership focused on scaling and commercialising lab-scale innovations in next-generation energy technologies and advanced clean energy solutions.
Under the collaboration, the two organisations will combine IIT Bombay’s research capabilities with Tata Power’s industry expertise to develop solutions across smart grids, power electronics, energy storage, electric mobility, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence for power systems, digital grid technologies, carbon capture and the circular economy. The partnership will focus on translating research into scalable and industry-ready technologies.
