Bhutan’s Druk Green Power Corporation Limited (DGPC) and Hira Power & Steels Limited (HPSL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore the joint development of solar power projects in Bhutan.
Under the agreement, the companies will assess potential areas of collaboration and the feasibility of prospective solar projects. The MoU follows HPSL’s earlier submission of an expression of interest to DGPC for developing a 500 MW solar photovoltaic project in Bhutan.
