Sarawak Energy, Malaysia’s state-owned energy company, has integrated Limbang into the Sarawak Grid, following the commissioning of the 275 kV Limbang Town extra high-voltage (EHV) substation and energisation of the 275 kV Bunut–Medamit Limbang transmission line.
The project comprises approximately 228 km of 275 kV lines supported by 644 towers and monopoles, running from Bunut through Medamit to the new Limbang town EHV substation.
