AnantGrid Projects One Private Limited (AGPOPL), jointly owned by Bajel Projects Limited (26 per cent) and the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (74 per cent), has received a letter of intent (LoI) from PFC Consulting Limited. The LoI has been secured for an inter-state transmission project, “Common Transmission System for evacuation of power from Lakadia (Phase-II: 7.5GW), Jam Khambhaliya (Phase-II: 5.5GW) and Jamnagar (Phase-I: 1GW) – Part-A,” under the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) route.
The project includes construction of around 270 km of 765 kV double-circuit transmission lines from Halvad to Vadodara in Gujarat, along with additional works at the Halvad, Vadodara and South Olpad substations.
