REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has transferred Luhri Power Transmission Limited, the project-specific special purpose vehicle (SPV), to Terralight Solar Energy Tinwari Private Limited (TSETPL) under the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process.
The SPV will develop the project, namely, “Transmission system for evacuation of power from Sunni Dam HEP and Luhri Stage-I HEP.” The scheme includes a 400/220 kV gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) Nange Pooling Station, a 50 km 400 kV double-circuit transmission line from Nange Pooling Station to Koldam, and associated works. The project is scheduled for commissioning by October 2029.
