Gurīn Energy secures 379 MW EBLs for three South Korean solar projects

Gurīn Energy has secured electricity business licences (EBLs) totalling 379 MW for three utility-scale solar projects in South Korea, which have a combined planned capacity of about 500 MW.

The Jindo Green Solar project on Jindo Island has secured 216 MW in EBLs, while the Jindo Jido-yeomjang Solar Power Project has received an EBL for 65 MW. Meanwhile, the Goheung Nuri Solar Power Project in Goheung-gun has secured an EBL for 98 MW, representing half of its planned capacity. The project is jointly owned by Gurīn Energy and Korean renewable energy developer Kumyang Green Power.
