NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Limited, is developing a 110 MW solar power project through NIRL NCRTC Renewables Limited (NNRL), a joint venture between NIRL and National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC).
NNRL has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with NCRTC for procurement of power from the project under the captive mode. The project is proposed to be developed in Uttar Pradesh and is scheduled for commissioning within 24 months of signing the PPA. It is expected to generate 180 million units (MUs) of electricity annually.
