ACWA Power has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Korea Western Power Company Limited (KOWEPO) to explore renewable energy opportunities in Uzbekistan.
The agreement establishes a framework for potential cooperation in renewable energy, energy storage and related infrastructure projects. The companies will jointly identify renewable energy opportunities, initially focusing on Uzbekistan, and assess potential projects on a project-by-project basis.
