Bondada Engineering Limited has incorporated Bondada Hindupur BESS Project Private Limited (BHBPL) as its wholly owned subsidiary. BHBPL will develop, own, operate and maintain the 225 MW/450 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project awarded by Andhra Pradesh transco under the build, own, and operate model.
BHBPL has been established as a dedicated special purpose vehicle for the project. Its scope includes project financing, procurement, construction, commissioning, ownership, operation and maintenance, as applicable under the project agreements. The project will provide grid-scale energy storage capacity and associated energy management services.
