Ceigall India Limited has received a letter of intent (LoI) from REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) for the development of the project titled “Common Transmission System for evacuation of power from Lakadia (Phase-II: 7.5 GW), Jam Khambhaliya (Phase-II: 5.5 GW) and Jamnagar (Phase-I: 1 GW) – Part-B”. The project has been awarded under a tariff-based contract agreement and carries annual transmission charges of Rs 6,086.7 million annually for 35 years.
The total cost of the project is nearly Rs 53 billion. It has a work execution period of 36 months, followed by an operational period of 35 years.
