NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Limited, has received a letter of intent from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) to develop a 275 MW/550 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) in Gujarat.
The project has been awarded through the tariff-based competitive bidding route.
