Powertrac has announced its plans to set up a 10 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing facility in Gujarat.
The company has signed an order agreement with SUNKA LEAD, a China-based provider of battery manufacturing equipment and automation solutions, for the proposed production line. The facility will use automated systems for BESS container fabrication, material movement, robotic assembly, inspection, testing, and quality control. The expansion will extend Powertrac’s business from solar energy into energy storage.
