Suyog Urja Limited (SUL), a step-down subsidiary of Enviro Infra Engineers Limited, has received a letter of intent from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) for a Rs 2.24 billion contract. The contract involves engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) turnkey works for a 180 MW NTPC wind power project at Parli in Maharashtra.
The project scope covers wind turbine generator (WTG) foundations, balance of plant (BoP) works and a 33 kV transmission line. SUL will construct foundations for 58 WTGs, including associated reinforcement steel and geotechnical works. The BoP works will include a 39-acre storage yard, access roads, pathways and crane pads. SUL will also manage the right-of-way (RoW) for material movement and undertake related civil and infrastructure works. Furter, the 33 kV transmission works will cover route survey and design, followed by the supply and erection of poles or towers, conductors, insulators and associated hardware. The scope also includes line commissioning, RoW-related activities and installation of STATCOM and harmonic filter systems.
