GREW Solar Private Limited has entered into a five-year commercialisation partnership with Caelux Corporation to produce 4 GW of high-power hybrid-tandem solar modules. The partnership will use Caelux’s perovskite solar technology for the module production.
Under the agreement, GREW Solar will use Caelux’s energy producing glass with its N-type TOPCon technology to develop hybrid-tandem modules, including its large-format G12R series. Caelux’s technology will enable the production of modules with two energy-producing layers. The companies are targeting 2028 for commercial production of perovskite-plus-silicon modules that meet the eligibility requirements under the Approved List of Module Manufacturers.
