Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has received a purchase order worth approximately Rs 2.63 billion for supplying power cables and conductors for an urban power infrastructure project of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) in Bhandup, Maharashtra. The order has been placed by a domestic engineering, procurement and construction contractor executing the project.
The order includes medium voltage and low voltage cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) underground power cables, overhead conductors and control cables. The products will be manufactured as per MSEDCL specifications. The order will be priced on a variable basis linked to prevailing aluminium and copper prices and currency to protect margins against fluctuations. Further, supplies will begin after MSEDCL approves the technical particulars and drawings. The delivery schedule will be finalised thereafter.
