French energy major Total S.A. has formed a joint venture (JV) with Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL). Total S.A. has invested Rs 37.07 billion for a 50 per cent partnership with AGEL in the JV. The JV will own and operate 2,148 MW solar projects across 11 states in India. The JV formation has been approved by the Competition Commission of India.
