The Maharashtra government and Renew Power Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up a Rs 200 billion renewable energy project in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
An expression of interest was also signed by the company and the state industries department. The project will come up on an area of 500 acres and will lead to creation of 8,000-10,000 direct and indirect jobs.
