NHPC Limited and the Odisha government through GRIDCO Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the development of pumped storage projects (PSPs) and renewable energy in the state of Odisha.
The MoU envisages setting up of self-identified PSPs of at least 2,000 MW and setting up of renewable energy projects (ground mounted solar projects/floating solar projects) of 1,000 MW or above in the state.
