Reportedly, NTPC Renewables Energy Limited (NTPC-REL) is planning to establish 1.5 GW of renewable energy capacity this year, with a capital expenditure of approximately Rs 100 billion.
This capex is at the NTPC renewables level, and not NTPC REL alone. The capex encompasses both ongoing and under-construction projects, as well as those in the pipeline for the following year. Of the 1.5 GW, the majority will be dedicated to solar energy, with 150 MW allocated for wind projects, integrated as part of hybrid initiatives.
