JKPCL and RUVNL agrees to purchase power from SJVN’s 1,000 MW CPSU solar power project

Jammu and Kashmir Power Corporation Limited (JKPCL) and Rajasthan Urja Vidyut Nigam Limited (RUVNL) has agreed to purchase 600 MW and 500 MW of power respectively against a total capacity of 1,000 MW at a tariff of Rs 2.57 per kWh from SJVN Limited.

SJVN has offered power to the beneficiaries of northern region from 1,000 MW solar photovoltaic station to be developed under central public sector undertaking scheme of the Government of India at village Bandarewala Rajasthan. The power generated by the project will be used by government entities, either directly or through discoms.
