Tata Power signs MoU with Odisha government to train ITI students in power sector skills

Tata Power has signed an MoU with the Skill Development and Technical Education Department of the Odisha government to provide industry-relevant training to students enrolled in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). These ITIs are situated within the licence areas of the four discoms managed by Tata Power under a public-private partnership with the Government of Odisha. The initiative aligns with the state government’s “Skilled in Odisha” programme. The MoU is a collaborative effort between Tata Power and the Odisha government to empower the young talent in the state and make them industry-ready through targeted programmes. Initially covering 20 ITIs in its first year, Tata Power plans to implement an exclusive programme designed to enhance the skills of students enrolled in these institutes.
