IEA to set up a regional cooperation center in Singapore

The International Energy Agency (IEA) will be setting up a Regional Cooperation Centre in Singapore.

This move marks the IEA’s first venture outside of France and signals a commitment to enhancing energy security and transition efforts in Southeast Asia and neighboring regions. The regional office will concentrate on facilitating policy guidance, offering technical support, and conducting training programs to promote the adoption of renewable energy sources, clean technologies, cross-border energy trade, and investments.
