India and Bhutan sign multiple MoUs including in renewable sector

India and Butan have sealed various memoranda of understanding (MoUs) across multiple sectors including energy, trade, digital connectivity, space, agriculture, and youth engagement.

The focus on energy cooperation underscores the significant economic ties between the two countries, particularly in hydropower, solar energy, and green hydrogen projects. The joint efforts aim to leverage technological capabilities and business potential to bolster energy security in the region, as highlighted in the Joint Vision Statement on India-Bhutan Energy Partnership.
