NTPC Limited has commissioned Durgapur PP-III Unit-2 of 20 MW of NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited.
Aditionally, based on achievement of approved norms and due approvals, Unit-2 of 660 MW of 1320 MW (2×660 MW) Maitree Super Thermal Power Plant at Rampal, Mongla, Bagerhat of Bangladesh-India Friendship Power Company Limited is included in the installed and commercial capacity of NTPC Group w.e.f. March 12, 2024. Further, NTPC has commissioned second and last part capacity of 80 MW out of 150 MW Chhattargarh solar photovoltaic project in Bikaner, Rajasthan of NTPC Renewable Energy Limiteda stepdown subsidiary of NTPC through its wholly owned subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Limited. With this, the total installed and commercial capacity of NTPC group has now become 75,958 MW.
