Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Limited, has entered into a share subscription and shareholders agreement to acquire 26 per cent of the equity share capital of Solsolis Solar Energy Solutions Private Limited.
This acquisition involves 3.02 million equity shares, amounting to Rs 30.24 million. The transaction is aimed at sourcing solar power as captive consumer for a capacity of up to 11.2 MW in Odisha. The deal is subject to customary conditions precedents and is expected to be completed within eight months in one or more tranches.
