Adani Saur Urja Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Adani Green Energy Limited, has received a letter of award (LoA) from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) for the procurement of 1,250 MW energy storage capacity from pumped hydro storage projects. The capacity was secured through an e-reverse auction conducted by UPPCL. The LoA is valid for a period of 40 years, with an annual fixed cost of Rs 7,653,226 per MW per annum.
