Juniper Green Energy Limited has commissioned 60 MWh of its 100 MWh merchant battery energy storage system (BESS) project at Bikaner in Rajasthan.
The project has been developed through its subsidiary, Juniper Green Cosmic Private Limited, and marks the company’s first operational merchant storage facility. The project will enable merchant revenue streams such as peak arbitrage, grid-balancing services, and participation in ancillary markets. Separately, Juniper Green Energy has installed 400 MWh of battery storage capacity at Fatehgarh in Rajasthan, which is expected to be commissioned by the first quarter of 2026.
