NTPC Limited has commissioned a 180 MW of solar capacity through its subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Limited.
This includes the third and final part capacity of 75 MW out of the 500 MW Bhadla solar PV project in Phalodi, Rajasthan and the fifth part capacity of 105 MW out of the 1,200 MW Khavda-II solar PV project in Gujarat with effect from March 29, 2026. With these additions, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group has reached 88,889 MW, while commercial capacity stands at 87,809 MW.
