Enrich has secured a contract from NTPC Limited to deploy a 290 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at the Simhadri Thermal Power Station in Andhra Pradesh.
The project will integrate energy storage with the existing thermal power station to enhance operational flexibility and support grid stability. Under the contract, Enrich will undertake end-to-end installation and integration of the BESS, along with remote monitoring and control systems and operations and maintenance services. The project scope includes battery systems, battery management systems, energy management systems, supervisory control and data acquisition, power conversion systems, and inverter-duty transformers.
