The Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte has entered into a partnership with ACEN, GCash, Fuse Financing Inc., Solaric Philippines, and the Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative for the implementation of the solar rooftop campaign.
Under the initiative, households can install rooftop solar systems with financing support extended through Fuse Financing, the lending arm of GCash. Repayments can be made via GCash’s GGives instalment facility. The scheme offers loan tenures ranging from three to ten years, with monthly instalments starting at approximately $21.20. Notably, the financing model does not require traditional bank collateral, thereby enhancing accessibility for residential consumers.
