JAKSON Infra has secured a Rs 1.28 billion contract from Resonia Limited for the execution of the 400 kV double-circuit (quad) Jagalur-Kadakola Transmission Line, Element 1B in Karnataka. The project was awarded to Resonia by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) through the tariff-based competitive bidding process.
The transmission line will span approximately 90.07 km. It forms part of a larger transmission scheme involving a 400 kV substation at Hampapura and associated transmission lines in Mandya district. JAKSON Infra’s scope includes the engineering, procurement, supply, construction, testing and commissioning of the designated transmission line section.
