Oswal Pumps Limited has received a letter of award from North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited for setting up 20 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects for 18,089 consumers in the Darbhanga circle in the state.
The projects will be developed under the capital expenditure plus renewable energy service company mode in the utility-led aggregation model of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. Each rooftop solar plant will have a capacity of 1.1 kW, with the total contract valued at approximately Rs 0.78 billion. The projects are to be commissioned within nine months from the execution of the respective power purchase agreements.
