A group led by India Power Corporation Limited has secured a contract to build a 100 MW solar power plant in Albania. It is the country’s first solar project. The 70 million project is set to be completed within 18 months and will be located at the Akërni salt flats, near the Vlora river on the south-eastern Adriatic.
