The CERC has determined the average power purchase cost (APPC) at the national level as Rs 3.60 per unit for 2019-20. This is based on the tariff orders issued by the state/joint electricity regulatory commissions for 2018-19. The APPC will be applicable for the purpose of deviation settlement for open access and captive wind and solar generators.
