TP Renewable Microgrid Limited (TPRMG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power, and the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) have collaborated to launch an innovative programme that involves the establishment of 1,000 green energy enterprises across the country.
After completion of TPRMG’s organised capacity building activity, SIDBI will provide entrepreneurs with a “Go REsponsive, ENterprise incentive (GREENi)”. SIDBI will also assist in credit linkages to facilitate financing for setting up or expanding rural entrepreneurs’ businesses through its PRAYAAS scheme or partner institutions. TPRMG will also provide rural enterprises, green energy solutions, the technical know-how for maximising energy utilisation and conservation.
