The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL) has published an expression of interest (EOI) in the Asian Development Bank (ADB) portal for the selection of consultant for environmental impact assessment (EIA) and social safeguard assessment (SSA) for installation of 500 MW floating solar photovoltaic (PV) project at Bakreswar Dam.
The project will be financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) . The project aims to increase the penetration of clean and affordable energy in West Bengal. The deadline for submitting the EOI is April 26, 2023.
