Amp Energy India emerges as the lowest bidder in CESC’s wind-solar hybrid auction

Amp Energy India through its subsidiary, Amp Green Energy Private Limited, has won CESC Limited’s 150 MW wind-solar hybrid auction at a tariff of Rs 3.07 per unit.

The tariff discovered was the lowest tariff in the bid. The contracted capacity of the project will be 150 MW and would require around 250 MWp of wind and solar capacity installation. The project will be connected to the interstate transmission system network. The power purchase agreement for this project will be executed with CESC. With this win, Amp Energy India’s utility portfolio has reached to over 1.75 GWp diversified into niche segment, and the total portfolio of projects has reached to around 3GWp including commercial and industrial off-takers.
