Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has received approval from the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) to create a wholly-owned retail subsidiary.
The new subsidiary will focus on handling retail business under key government schemes, such as PM-Suryaghar and PM-KUSUM. It will also cater to the business-to-consumer segments in renewable energy and emerging areas like electric vehicles, energy storage, and green technologies.
