Reliance Infrastructure Limited has received a letter of award (LoA) from NHPC Limited for the development of a 390 MW inter-state transmission system-connected solar power project, coupled with a battery energy storage system (BESS).
The project will have a total installation of 700 MWp solar direct current capacity and 780 MWh of BESS capacity. It will be executed at a tariff of Rs 3.13 per kWh. The project forms part of NHPC’s larger tender, which attracted bids from 15 entities, with 14 qualifying for the e-reverse auction. The tender was oversubscribed nearly fourfold
