Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC) has acquired an additional 9.37 per cent equity stake in Ratchaburi Power Company Limited, raising its total shareholding to 24.38 per cent.
The gas-based thermal power plant has an installed capacity of 1,400 MW and is located in Thailand. The stake was acquired from Chubu Electric Power Company International B.V, a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan Energy for a New Era and Toyota Tsusho Corporation
