Envision Energy has entered a seven-year cooperation framework agreement with ACWA Power to collaborate on wind energy projects across Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Central and Eastern Asia.
The agreement covers wind turbine supply, technology transfer, and operations and maintenance support. In Saudi Arabia, the partnership will establish domestic production capacity for key wind turbine components aligned with Vision 2030, while in Uzbekistan, it will focus on manufacturing concrete towers and blades to meet local content goals. The companies will also explore joint development opportunities in China. The agreement follows ACWA Power’s announcement of USD 10 billion in new financing for renewable and storage projects globally.
