Waaree Energy Storage Solutions Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waree Energies Solution, has raised Rs 10.03 billion to support the development of a 20 GWh advanced lithium-ion cell and battery pack manufacturing facility in India.
The facility will focus on producing high-performance lithium-ion cells and battery packs for utility-scale energy storage systems, electric mobility and distributed energy applications. The investment strengthens Waaree’s integrated clean energy manufacturing platform and complements its existing solar manufacturing capabilities.
